Am I the only one who had a dispatcher in Phoenix call me back just to say thanks?
I shipped my dad's old truck from Phoenix to Denver last week and the dispatcher called me after delivery just to say thanks for having the truck ready to go when the driver showed up. She said most people leave keys and paperwork a mess, so she had to call it out. It was a 2 minute call but it stuck with me because I never thought about how much that stuff slows down a route. She said it saved the driver about an hour on a tight schedule. Anyone else had a broker or dispatcher do something small like that?
That "saved the driver about an hour on a tight schedule" part is so real, I had a broker call me once just to say the paperwork was the cleanest he'd seen all month. Made me realize the little stuff we do on our end actually matters way more than we think.
