Paid $180 for an enclosed transport from Phoenix to Denver and my bumper got chewed up anyway
Booked with a broker who promised door to door enclosed shipping for my 2019 Civic Type R. The driver showed up with an open trailer, said he was 'subcontracted', and the car arrived with a cracked front lip and 40 extra miles on the odometer. Broker told me to file a claim with the carrier directly, and the carrier stopped answering calls after two weeks. Anyone actually get a payout from one of these situations or is the damage waiver just a money grab?

Small claims court against the broker, not the carrier, that's who took your money.
