Guy at the bar asked me why I always pay the deposit with a credit card, and it made me rethink how I book transport
I was pouring drinks last Tuesday and this older guy mentioned he moves cars for a living. He said the deposit is the part people should worry about, not the quote. He told me to always pay with a card because you can dispute it if the carrier goes quiet. I always just sent cash or a debit payment to save a few bucks, which now feels pretty dumb. Anyone else pay a deposit and have the company stop answering calls?
