Paid $400 for a dealer diagnostics scan on my Corolla and it was just a loose gas cap
Some folks tell me dealer tools are worth it for the deep computer stuff, but others say any shop with a $40 code reader can pull the same codes. I want to hear from people who've been burned either way, because that $400 stung for about 30 seconds of work.
