My buddy's truck was making this weird ticking noise for months

Turns out it was a loose spark plug that kept backing itself out, three different shops missed it over 6 visits. Ended up fixing it myself with a torque wrench in maybe 20 minutes, how do mechanics miss something that simple?

Figured it might be a torque spec issue nobody bothered to check... probably just cranked it down tight enough and called it good.

My buddy's F-150 ticked for 4 months before I looked at it. Three shop visits and they all said it was normal engine noise. Tightened one plug and it ran perfect.
