My alternator gave up at 93,000 miles, here is what I learned
I was driving home from Columbus last Thursday when the dash lights flickered and then everything went dark. The shop in Newark diagnosed it as a failed alternator, not the battery like I guessed, and the quote came to $612 with labor. I had them replace it because I needed the car for work Monday, but I wish I had asked about a rebuilt option first. Has anyone else had luck with aftermarket alternators on a 2014 Honda Accord?
