Dealership in Reno wanted $1,100 to replace a part that cost me $60 at the auto parts store
Two months ago my check engine light came on and the dealer in Reno quoted me $1,100 to swap out a bad ignition coil on my 2014 Silverado. I bought the coil for $60 down the street, watched a 15 minute video, and had it done in my driveway before dinner. My question is, do you guys actually trust the extended warranty shops or do you just fix it yourself and keep the receipts?
