Tried to fix a weird coolant leak on a 2014 Focus with that UV dye stuff

I put the whole bottle in like the kit said, ran it for 20 minutes, and the only thing glowing under the light was my entire garage floor, not the engine. Guess the leak is way bigger than I thought, or that dye is junk. Has anyone had this happen and found a better way to spot a big leak fast?

Lmao, the dye just gave up and marked the crime scene for you. At least you don't need a black light to find it now.

My friend Jake spilled red dye on his white rug last week. It looked like a murder scene, just like susanh46 said. He tried to clean it but now there's a pink ghost shape in the middle of his living room.
