Snap-on wobble sockets changed my mind about u-joints
I used to swear by universal joints for those tight exhaust manifold bolts, especially on a 2005 Ford Crown Vic I was fighting last month. But after snapping two u-joints in a row (and cussing up a storm), a guy at the shop down in Austin handed me his Snap-on wobble socket set. No slop, no binding, and I got that back bolt on cylinder 7 without dropping the socket 3 times. Has anyone else had better luck with wobbles over u-joints on cramped jobs?
