Question about using a 3/8 drive impact for lug nuts vs. a 1/2 inch
Tried the 3/8 on a set of Ford truck wheels last week and it just doesn't have the guts, ended up having to break them by hand. When do you guys decide to just grab the bigger gun?

Come on, it's just lug nuts. A 3/8 should handle it if it's a decent gun. You probably just had one stubborn set.

Switched to a 1/2 inch, no more problems.
