Why does nobody talk about using a heat gun on those impossible plastic bumper clips?

Had a 2021 Civic with a mangled front end and those clips were totally seized, but a quick 30-second blast with my Milwaukee heat gun made them pop right out without breaking. Anyone got a different method for stubborn plastic fasteners?

Oh man, I feel that so hard. I've been there with those clips just welded in place by sun and grime. It's the worst feeling when you know one wrong move and you're ordering a whole new set online. The heat gun trick is pure gold because it softens the plastic just enough to let go without a fight. Casey's right, going at them cold with metal tools is just asking for a disaster. Once you learn that heat is the key, it changes everything. Saves so much time and swearing.

Heat guns are a lifesaver, unlike my first attempt with a screwdriver that just made more plastic confetti.
