That epoxy primer failure at the shop on 5th and Main

Last Tuesday I shot a 2018 F-150 with a fresh batch of epoxy primer, same mix ratio I've used for three years. Let it dry overnight, came in Wednesday morning and it was still tacky. Checked the catalyst date on the can, it expired back in February and nobody flagged it. Whole job got pushed back two days and the customer was not happy about the rental car bill. Does anyone else bake their primer in the summer or notice these materials going bad faster in this heat?

Did you double check how long the epoxy sat in the warehouse before you mixed it? I started marking batch dates on every can the day it shows up, and it's saved me twice this summer.
