Stumbled on a 2010 forum post saying 80% of dent repairs fail because of bad glue sticks, and now I double-check every batch I buy.

I was digging through old threads last night and saw this stat from a guy who worked at a glue supplier, and it explained why my last three jobs had lifting issues despite doing everything else right.

In my experience, bad glue sticks can definitely wreck a project way more than people expect. @taylor.jessica, I once had a whole batch of prints fail because I tried a cheap brand and the layers just kept peeling apart. Your mileage may vary depending on what printer you're running, but switching to a known brand made a night and day difference for me. Take this with a grain of salt, but I'd guess a lot of those failures come down to inconsistent adhesion from the cheap stuff. It's worth testing a few different brands to see what sticks best with your setup.
