Stopped by a body shop in Bakersfield on a road trip and their dent pull trick made me rethink my whole setup
I was driving through Bakersfield last month and popped into a small shop off Chester Ave to ask about a fender dent on my truck. The owner was pulling a golf ball sized dent with a glue puller and a $12 heat gun instead of drilling, and he let me watch the whole thing. He said he has been doing it that way for 8 years and has not had a single paint crack come back. I tried it on a customer's door dent when I got home and it came out cleaner than my old stud welder job. Anybody else here making the switch to glue pulling, or am I late to this party?
