PSA: That 'fast' 2K clear from the new supplier in Tacoma is a nightmare
Honestly, I sprayed a hood with their 'quick' clear last Thursday and it stayed tacky for three whole days in the booth. I followed the mix ratio to the letter, 4:1:1, and the temp was fine. Ngl, I had to block it all off and start over, which killed my schedule. Anyone else get burned by this stuff and have a good clear for hot jobs?

Three days tacky is brutal, that's enough time to watch the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy and still have to sand it all off. I feel your pain, it reminds me of when I tried that "5 minute" craft epoxy that was still a sticky mess a week later. For hot jobs, I've had good luck with the regular Omni AU from the usual guys, it's not magic but at least it dries when it says it will.

Ugh, that's the worst. Doesn't it feel like everything labeled "fast" or "quick" these days is just code for "we didn't let it finish properly"? I swear it's the same with fast food, quick-dry cement, all of it. You end up wasting more time fixing the rushed result.
