My pneumatic DA sander gave up the ghost halfway through a quarter panel yesterday

The motor just seized up, which was a real pain (it was a 6-inch model I've had for about three years). Has anyone else had a similar failure and found a brand that holds up better to daily use?

Ugh, that's the worst. My old one died so fast I think it was just a paperweight that came with a hose. I've been using a Dynabrade for a while now and it's been a total workhorse.

My buddy's shop in Toledo burned through three cheap ones in a year (which is nuts). He finally listened to someone like olivere30 and got a Dynabrade, and that thing is still going strong two years later.
