My buddy swore by using lacquer thinner to clean off old paint and it worked

He told me to try it on a 95 F-150 I was stripping down and it cut the time in half compared to my usual acetone. Anyone else use that stuff or am I asking for trouble down the road?

Oh man, lacquer thinner is no joke! Did you wear a good respirator when you were using it, cause that stuff will mess you up if you breath it in too much. I've heard it can also eat through some plastics and rubber seals if you're not careful around them.
