Hot take: the guy who roasted my filler work actually helped me

Had a customer back in March bring his 2017 F-150 back cause he could see a wave in the quarter panel I'd done. He told me 'your feathering is lazy, you left a hard edge 3 inches from the blend line.' Made me redo the whole thing. Now I run my hand over every repair before primer, saved me from 2 comebacks since then. Anybody else got a brutal critique that actually made them better?

Bet you actually love spending hours sanding stuff down by hand for that perfect finish. Nothing beats the satisfaction of seeing all that dust pile up and knowing you earned every bit of smoothness yourself.
