Hit 200 dent repairs this month and my back is screaming at me

I checked my book yesterday and I did 200 paintless dent removal jobs in April alone. That's like 7 or 8 a day sometimes bending over hoods and roofs. My lower back has been killing me for the last two weeks but I just keep popping Advil. Has anyone else hit a weird milestone like that and realized you're pushing too hard?

It was around dent 150 for me when I realized my knee was clicking every time I stood up. Not a pop like cracking a knuckle, a real click that I could feel all the way up my thigh. Took me another two weeks to admit I needed a pad to kneel on, and even then I grumbled about it. You hit that 200 number and all you can do is stare at the Advil bottle thinking this is just how it is now. I hope you find a way to pace yourself better than I did.

Why are you acting like this is some kind of flex? 200 repairs is insane and honestly sounds like you're just asking for a herniated disc. Popping Advil like candy doesn't fix the problem, it just masks the damage you're doing to your spine. Maybe take a hint from your body instead of bragging about how many cars you can mess yourself up over.

@the_david I get where you're coming from but I think you're missing the point a little. Nobody is bragging about popping Advil or wrecking their back, it's more about the pride in keeping a beater running on a budget because new cars are stupid expensive. Pain is a side effect of the work, not the goal, and most of us just deal with it because we can't afford a shop.
