Appreciation post: A customer at my shop in Dayton said 'a good repair is invisible, but a great one tells a story you have to look for' and it stuck with me.
He was pointing out a subtle, factory-style weld seam I'd recreated on his classic truck's quarter panel, and it made me think about how much of our best work is in the details most folks never consciously notice.

What if the best stories are the ones we tell ourselves later, to make sense of the boring parts we actually lived through? Kinda makes you wonder what we're missing right now lol

Totally agree. Was just thinking about this weird little moment at the gas station yesterday that turned into a whole thing. Honestly, the best stuff always seems to happen in the corner of your eye.
