Am I the only one who misses wet sanding by hand instead of grabbing the DA every time?

Back in 2005 at a shop in Gary, Indiana, I blocked out every panel with 400 grit and a rubber pad, and now I reach for the 3/16 orbital for almost everything. Curious if anyone still hand blocks their cut lines or if I'm just holding onto old habits for no reason.
