TIL my old spark plug habit was the real reason my sled ran rough

I used to swap plugs every October without checking the gap, but after a 12-mile stall fest near Eagle River last season, I bought a $6 gapper tool and now I set them at 0.035 before every ride, anyone else just trust the box for years?

Setting the gap is good practice, but a fouled plug or bad fuel will still leave you stranded no matter how perfect that 0.035 is. Gotta ask, did the rough run actually go away, or did you just get a new excuse?
