Spent $400 on a used winch for my 2004 Foreman and it paid for itself in one weekend
Back in 2019 I got my Foreman stuck alone in a muddy creek bed near Hayward, Wisconsin, and had to walk 2 miles out in the rain to get help. After that mess I found a used Warn winch on Marketplace for $400 and almost talked myself out of it. Three months later my buddy buried his Ranger up to the racks in the same swampy area, and that winch yanked him out in about 10 minutes instead of us spending hours digging and cussing. These days everything comes with a factory winch and it makes me wonder if people even remember what it was like before. What gear did you buy that felt like a waste until the one time it bailed you out?
