Snowmobile clutches need way more care than the manual says

I read the owners manual for my 2018 Skidoo and it said to check the clutch every 2000 miles. Last weekend I pulled it apart at 1800 and found rollers worn almost flat on one side. Dealer in Green Bay said they see it all the time on trail bikes that see hard acceleration. Anyone else tearing down early and finding the same?
