Ripped a track on my 2018 Polaris last weekend
Out near Traverse City last Saturday. I hit a hidden stump under some powder. Ripped a 4 inch gash right through the middle of my 1.6 inch track. Cost me $680 for a new one online. Took me 6 hours in my buddy's unheated garage to swap it. Anyone else had bad luck with hidden trail hazards this season?

Man that's a rough one. Stumps hidden under powder are the worst, you think you're fine and then bam, you're pulling out a credit card for a new track. Six hours in an unheated garage sounds brutal too, my fingers get cold just thinking about it. I had a similar thing happen last year with a rock that was barely sticking out, tore up my rails too, not just the track. It's always the stuff you can't see that gets you, feels like the snow is just a big trap sometimes.

Oh man, did you try heating the whole track up slowly with a heat gun before trying to bend it back? I heard that can save the metal from snapping completely if you're careful enough.
