PSA: Check Your Trailer Bearings Before You Lose a Wheel on I-90
Headed out to Lake George last weekend and had to choose between repacking my old bearings or just greasing the caps and rolling. Went with the quick grease job and made it 40 miles before the right side started howling, pulled over at a rest stop near Amsterdam and the hub was too hot to touch. Anyone else learned this the hard way, or am I the only one cutting corners?

Buddy of mine tried the same shortcut and smoked a bearing outside Utica, so you're not alone.
