Changed my mind about studding my sled after that day on the hardpack
I used to think studs were a waste of money, just extra weight and noise. Then last February I took my Renegade out on that icy trail near Eagle River and nearly slid into a pine tree on a sharp corner. My buddy with studs just cruised past me like it was nothing. That one close call convinced me to drop $180 on a set of 96 studs, and I haven't looked back since. Anyone else have a moment that made them switch their setup?

You ever wonder if studs mess with your sled's handling in the deep powder though... I swapped mine out for the spring riding and felt a big difference in how loose the backend got.
