That one week in July where every photo came out perfect

Had a freak stretch of clear skies back in July 2023. Five nights in a row, no moon, zero wind. Managed to get 6 hours of data on the Veil Nebula in one night alone. Usually I'm lucky to get 30 minutes before clouds roll in. Anyone else ever have a week that felt like the universe was cooperating?

Pretty sure a dog eating a memory card is a thing that only happens in stories people tell to make themselves feel better about accidentally formatting the wrong drive. That said, the Veil in 6 hours sounds like a dream. I had three clear nights this past February and got the full set of data for the Horsehead and Flame. Usually it's two hours of setup, twenty minutes of subs, and then a wall of clouds rolling in from the lake. A whole week of perfect conditions feels like winning the lottery.
