Spent 2 hours setting up my telescope only to realize I forgot the eyepiece
I drove out to Cherry Springs State Park last Saturday, got my rig all aligned and focused. Then I reached for the eyepiece case and it wasn't in the car. Sat there for 20 minutes just staring at the stars with my naked eye, feeling like a total fool. Now I keep a checklist taped to my scope case. Has anyone else left a critical piece behind on a trip?

What kind of checklist are you running? I went full paranoid after forgetting a tripod plate once. My list is broken down by bag, car trunk, and even my coat pockets for things like a red flashlight. It feels dumb but checking each box before I lock the door saves the whole night.

A checklist for a hobby? Man, you guys are way more organized than me. I'd probably forget the checklist.
