Dropped $230 on a used tracking mount for my camera and I almost gave up on it
Bought it at a pawn shop in Reno with no manual, and my first three nights of star trails came out as squiggly messes before I figured out the polar alignment was way off. If you shoot deep sky stuff, do you bother with a mount or just stack short shots and hope for the best?
