Why does nobody talk about how wrong a stranger on a plane can be about sourdough
A guy in seat 14C on a flight to Phoenix last month swore I just needed to feed my starter twice a day and it would fix my flat loaves. I did it for 2 weeks and got 6 dense bricks that my neighbor's chickens would not even touch. Turns out my kitchen runs cold at night, so the starter was basically asleep the whole time. What actually worked for you when a random tip flopped?
