Question about switching from paper towels to reusable rags for cleaning

I used to burn through a roll of paper towels every three days wiping down counters and mirrors around the house, but I switched to microfiber cloths six months ago after a friend pointed out how much waste I was making. Now I just toss them in the wash once a week and they still pick up dust and grime way better than paper ever did. Has anyone else found a favorite brand or type of cloth that holds up longer than six months?

Hey, has anybody tried cutting up old cotton t-shirts instead? I did that with a stack i was gonna throw out and they actually work great for dusting and soaking up spills, plus they’re free and last forever. @pipera50 I got my microfiber ones at a hardware store but the t-shirt rags outlasted them by a long shot.

Did you find them on Amazon or just at the store?
