My brother said something about asking for help that really stuck with me

We were on the phone last Tuesday, and I was going on about how I couldn't figure out a weird glitch in my phone's settings. I'd been messing with it for like an hour, getting super annoyed. He just cut me off and said, 'You know, you can just ask the internet. That's literally what it's for.' It sounds so simple, but it hit different because I realized I was treating a simple search like a personal failure. I was trying to 'win' against my phone instead of just typing the problem into a forum. I spent 60 minutes being mad when a 2-minute search would have fixed it. Now I catch myself doing it with other stuff, like a recipe or a car noise. Do you ever get stuck in that loop of trying to solve something alone when the answer is right there?

Forget how asking ruins the fun of figuring it out.

I mean, @felix_thomas73, I just looked up a guide.

Remember that time we tried putting the IKEA shelf together without the paper? Pure chaos, but weirdly fun.
