Just realized my phone was ruining my photos when I dropped it in a puddle at the park
I was at Riverside Park last Tuesday trying to get a shot of the sunset, and after the drop, every picture came out hazy from water under the lens protector. Ended up drying it out with rice and a hairdryer for two hours, but now the autofocus is stuck. Has anyone else had a phone mess up their hobby photos like this?

Nancy, I gotta say, I get where you're coming from but I disagree a little. When you spend time getting the right shot and your phone messes it up, it's frustrating no matter what. Two hours with a hairdryer feels totally worth it if it means saving those photos, especially sunsets you can't get back. I've had a phone camera die on me at a bad moment before, and it's a bummer when the hobby you enjoy gets derailed by hardware problems. Hope the autofocus sorts itself out, drops in puddles are just the worst luck.

Hazy photos from a puddle don't sound that bad. Two hours with a hairdryer seems like a lot of effort for some phone pics.
