I told 200 people at a dinner party in Milwaukee to ask me anything, and it got weird
Last month I volunteered at a charity dinner in Milwaukee and they handed me a mic to run an ask me anything table as part of the event. I figured maybe 15 people would stop by, but by the end of the night I had answered close to 90 questions, mostly about my job as a home inspector. One guy asked why his basement always smells like wet cardboard and I gave him a straight answer about grading and downspouts, and he actually wrote it down on a napkin. That number, 90 questions, really stuck with me because I learned more about what people worry about in their own houses than I have from 3 years of classes. What would you ask a home inspector if you had five minutes and no filter?
