Can we talk about how people ask for advice here?

I read a post yesterday where someone asked 'how do I get better at anything?' and got a bunch of vague 'just practice' replies. That's not helpful for a forum literally called Ask Anything. What's the most useless piece of general advice you've ever been given here?

Seriously, that "just practice" stuff drives me nuts. It's like telling someone who's lost to "just look at a map." The worst I ever got was "just be more confident" when I asked how to handle a tough talk with my boss. What specific question did you see that got the most empty, one-size-fits-all answer?
