That time a badger tried to claim our trench at the Roman fort dig
We spent three days carefully exposing a section of wall at Vindolanda, only to find a family of badgers had moved into the far end of our excavation. My supervisor just sighed and said, 'Well, they were here first, I suppose.' Anyone else had wildlife try to take over their site?

Nah, I gotta disagree. Most people that study Latin in school forget it pretty quick unless they keep using it. Badgers are cool animals but let's not give them too much credit.
