I finally fell for one of those overpriced ancient coin bundles on eBay

Tbh I saw this listing for a 'Roman Empire coin collection' and it looked legit with 15 coins for $85. I figured it was a cool way to start a collection without hunting at shows. Turned out every single coin was a modern replica, not even good ones, just cast metal with fake patina. I wasted $85 on junk that I could have gotten for $5 at a tourist shop. Has anyone else gotten burned by these fake coin bundles?
