TIL my $40 Silky handsaw outcut the $650 pole saw on a 30 foot white oak limb

Spent 20 minutes fighting that heavy pole saw on a cracked limb near the fence line last Tuesday, then a buddy handed me his Silky and the whole thing came down in 4 clean pulls, so now I want to know what other low tech gear you all keep on the truck that beats the fancy stuff.
