Shoutout to the $18 handsaw from the hardware store in Tulsa that got me through a storm cleanup
Three years ago I was doing storm work in Tulsa after that big ice event and my chainsaw bar got pinched in a hackberry, so I grabbed an $18 Corona saw off the shelf and cleared six driveways with it that week. That little thing stayed in my truck for two more seasons until the blade finally snapped. Do any of you keep a hand saw on the truck as a backup, and if so what length do you like?

My buddy ran a tree service out near Broken Arrow and had almost the same thing happen with a cheap pull saw he kept behind the seat. His 460 died halfway through a job and he finished trimming out a whole fence line with that little thing, took him forever but it worked. He said the short blade was actually nice because he could get it into tight spots the chainsaw would never fit. He kept a 15 inch one in the truck after that, said anything longer got in his way climbing around. Mine lives under the back seat now and it has bailed me out more than once when I did not want to drag out the gas saw for one little branch.
