Notice the difference in CRT whites after 2 weeks of use?

Picked up a late 90s Trinitron from a garage sale in Austin, and the whites looked clean at first. After about 14 days of daily gaming, the text edges got fuzzy and the whole screen took on a pinkish tint. Has anyone else seen this with older Sony sets, or is this a sign the tube is about to go?

...and that pinkish tint plus fuzzy text, I had the exact same thing on my old Wega. Turned out it wasn't the tube dying, it was the convergence drifting after the set warmed up from being moved. I popped the back off and carefully adjusted the little rings on the neck of the tube, took about twenty minutes, and the whites snapped right back to clean. If you're not comfortable doing that, at least check the menu for a "color temperature" setting first, sometimes it gets stuck on warm after being off for a long time.
