Used to think old tech was just junk. That kid's question made me see it as a history lesson.

My grandpa's old rotary phone taught me more about how calls worked than any smartphone ever did. It's wild to see the actual parts moving when you dial.

Totally agree @the_blair. Rotaries were basically steampunk computers.
