My Atari 2600 wouldn't show a picture so I cleaned the cartridge slot with alcohol and now it works but the joystick only goes left

I figured the Q-tip and 91% alcohol trick would fix the screen but somehow now the stick is stuck on left, so does anyone know if this is a separate contact issue under the joystick boot?
