Picked up a thrift store Mamiya RB67 that had been sitting in a garage for 15 years and the shutter is stuck at 1 second
I finally got the lens off last night and found the blades are just caked in some sticky residue, anyone know the best solvent to clean this without wrecking the coating?

Did you already test it on a junk lens first?

...and honestly that reminds me of the time I tried to fix my old lawnmower carburetor with a youtube video and a flathead screwdriver. Ended up taking the whole thing apart in the driveway and had springs and little bits everywhere. My neighbor came over thinking I was building a bomb or something. Took me three days to get it back together and it ran worse than before. But hey, I learned a lot about small engines that week, even if I did have to buy a new mower in the end. So yeah, junk lens testing probably beats my method of just going for it.
