Old film back from the lab looked way different than last year - what changed?
I sent two rolls of the same Kodak Gold 200 to the same lab 8 months apart. The first roll came back warm and punchy, the second roll looked flat and greenish. I'm thinking either the lab changed their chemistry or my camera shutter is dragging at higher speeds. The only other thing different is I switched from a Pentax K1000 to a Nikon FE2 between rolls. Anyone else notice a big color shift in their lab results even with the same film stock?

Nah, pretty sure it's the switch to Nikon glass changing colors.

Wait didn't I just see a post on r/analog about how labs are switching to a different developer because the old stuff is getting harder to find? I heard some places are using a replenishment system now instead of one-shot chemistry and that can totally mess with color if they don't dial it in right. Your Nikon FE2 has a different meter and shutter than the K1000 too so that could be blowing out your exposures making the lab think your film is underexposed. I'd ask the lab if they changed their process before you start blaming the camera.
