Hit 100 rolls developed at home and my kitchen counter is mad at me

I've been developing my own black and white film for about 6 months and finally hit 100 rolls last weekend. What surprised me is that my first 90 rolls looked okay but the last 10 suddenly got way better because I stopped shaking the tank so aggressively. Has anyone else noticed a specific number of rolls where their technique just clicked, or am I just less jittery now?

100 rolls is a decent number but honestly that's not really that many in the grand scheme of things. You probably just got less tense over time and that made your technique smoother. Don't overthink it being some magic number where everything clicked. The real test is if you can keep that consistency for another 100 rolls without losing it.

Calm down, it's just rolling some dough not training for the Olympics. People act like baking bread is some kind of spiritual journey when it's really just flour and water.
