Dollar store reading glasses fixed my focus problem on a scratched negative
I had a nasty scratch running across an old 35mm scan from my dad's Kodak Retina and no amount of cloning in software looked right, so I taped a cheap pair of +3 readers over my light table lens and it let me spot the scratch line way better before I even touched the scan. Worked so well I now keep two pairs in my darkroom drawer. Anyone else use drugstore glasses for close inspection work, or do you just use a loupe?
