A guy at a camera swap in Topeka told me the shutter on my $15 Yashica was rated for 1/500, and I believed it for 3 rolls
Turns out the actual spec sheet says 1/300, so I was overexposing every sunny shot by nearly a full stop, and now I'm wondering if anyone else has caught a spec mixup like that on a cheap flea market body.
