My last roll of Portra got mangled in the Pentax 67 at Point Reyes

Was shooting a foggy sunrise at the lighthouse, advance lever jammed and I force-rolled the film right off the spool. Had to total black bag unspool it in my car and rewind by feel, lost half the frame spacing. Anyone else had a camera eat their roll mid-shoot?

Forced it? Dude. You're braver than me with a 67.

Yeah I read something the other day about a guy who hit a similar score on a windy day and it really changed how people looked at the course. @foster.wade I think you're right about that 67 being a real test of nerves, not just skill. Makes me wonder how many extra strokes the average player drops when the conditions get that rough. Did you play that round in the morning or afternoon?

Saw a piece recently that said wind changes the game more than any other condition, like it turns solid shots into total guesswork. Piper nailed it about that extra stroke count, I bet even scratch golfers drop 3-4 shots easy when the gusts kick up. Makes that 67 even more impressive in my book, nerves and all.
