My $50 thrift store Pentax K1000 came with a roll of exposed film inside
Honestly, I bought this beat up K1000 from a Goodwill in Portland for cheap just as a display piece, but there was still a half-shot roll of Kodak Gold 200 in it. I finished the roll and developed it myself and got these insane shots of some random family's 1990s vacation in what looked like Yosemite. Has anyone else ever found mystery film in a used camera and actually gotten something cool out of it?

Mystery film is usually just a roll of blurry photos of someone's cat or a broken lens test... People act like finding old film is some treasure hunt but it's almost always nothing special.

Ha! That's fair, but what about the negatives you can reanimate with AI now?
